Have you ever felt Hijacked in key moments—pulling away from loved ones when you long for connection, shutting down when you need support, or making choices that don’t align with what you truly want? It’s as if something inside takes over, steering you away from your own intentions.
For centuries, spiritual traditions have explored this inner conflict, sometimes naming it as evil or the Devil. But today, cutting-edge research support what wisdom traditions have long personified: we are made up of many parts, and sometimes those parts don’t agree—like the part that craves rest battling the part that pushes for productivity.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) offers a powerful, modern approach to what our ancestors used ritual and faith to navigate. It provides a way to understand, heal, and bring peace to the parts within us, so we’re no longer hijacked by fear, doubt, or old patterns.

It's time to release the pain our Exile Parts carry and the protection our Protector Parts provide, allowing our True Self to lead us in love and renewal. Rooted in ancient Christian tradition, made powerful through modern psychology, this practice offers a path to healing.

Easter April 20th
When we look through the world, I can see Protector Parts running much of the show, and I don’t know about you but it seems we are further from the world I want than ever. The Protector Parts keep telling us:
there’s no nuance here, its black and white!
everything is going to “hell in a handbasket”, be alert!
don’t worry about getting the facts, your feelings are all that matter!
I don’t care about the good in that situation, the bad disqualifies it!
These are the Voices of our Protector Parts trying to keep us safe, but there is a cost for their short sighted focus. They don’t care about the long-term health of us and our world, they only care about us not getting hurt right now.
In the last series we learned about looking at life through the metaphor of Parts. Through that metaphor we can see there are some Protector Parts that are focused only on helping us avoid specific emotions and experiences from our past. These Parts don’t seem to pay attention to all that their actions impact, what we called the cost of Hijack.
This series is going to teach you to Recognize the Protector Parts in you and in the world around you. And its going to show you how you might heal yourself, and the world around you with that awareness.
Join us in working towards greater health inside of us, and in the world around us, as we explore this spiritual journey towards a Healthy Spirituality.
